Europe’s largest on-trade drinks show, Imbibe Live, has announced that Stuart McCluskey, Mitchel Adams, Tom Oliver and Xavier Rousset MS will be ambassadors for the 2017 event, to continue to develop its highly successful offering across the categories for the UK’s leading buyers.
Between the ambassadors they have over 70 years of experience in the on-trade and demonstrate how Imbibe Live, taking place on 3 – 4 July, has become one of the most crucial annual events in the industry calendar.
About the ambassadors
Stuart McCluskey has worked in all aspects of the hospitality industry and has opened and continues to run numerous bars, restaurants, cafes, and drinks shops. Originally from Edinburgh, he opened the multiple award-winning ‘The Bon Vivant’ in 2008, and has since opened ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ in an old pump station in Edinburgh’s Old Town in 2013. He was also Imbibe’s very own ‘Bar Personality of the Year’ in 2014.
Xavier Rousset MS is one of the country’s biggest restaurant names having set up wine-driven bistros Cabotte and Blandford Comptoir to great critical acclaim. He won the Hot Stuff category in Imbibe’s Personality of the Year Awards in 2011 and Restaurant Personality of the Year in 2013.
Mitchel Adams is the Operations Director and Beer & Spirits Buyer for Borough Wines & Beers and has worked in pubs for over 20 years. After running his own country pub, the Thatcher’s Arms, on the Essex and Suffolk border, Adams became involved in beer production whilst running highly successful London Brewing Co brewpub, The Bull, in Highgate in North London. He is involved in judging trade competitions and has recently just finished writing his first book, BREW, on beer and brewing.
