1. Brand Activation Executive

Ready to get up and go? Your sense of initiative is key for this role. As a Brand Activation Executive, you’d be expected to prioritise your own time to support key brand events and promotions. You’d have your own designated territory and customer base to focus on. Your job would be to design and deliver exciting events with customers that drive brand in hand experiences. And to promote the development of brand advocates with our key trade influencers.

 

What you’d do

•       Plan and prioritise your time and resources across customers and brands to best promote Pernod Ricard UK’s portfolio within your territory

•       Develop strong customer relationships at outlet level, offering tailored and bespoke plans as appropriate

•       Educate and inform customers about Pernod Ricard UK brands

•       Design and deliver compelling consumer focused events with customers, optimising the impact of activation resources

•       Track and report event and promotional evaluation metrics

•       Identify, capture and communicate key learnings to inform future activation planning

•       Be an ambassador for Pernod Ricard UK’s brand portfolio

•       Manage all territory and personal administration responsibilities independently

 

Who you’d work with

·        You’d report to a Regional Business Manager

·        You’d work closely with Field Sales Executives within a regional team across all channels

·        You’d work closely with the Field Sales Training Manager to optimise your professional development

·        You’d have regular and effective communication with the Field Sales Planning Executive and Activation Team Customer Marketing Executive

 

What we’re looking for

Qualifications
•       University degree not essential

Experience
•       Experience working in bars and/or hospitality

•       Experience in the management and delivery of events – either professional or personal

•       Highly convivial with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills

•       Computer and systems literate

•       Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities

2. Account Development Executive

As an Account Development Executive, you’d need to take initiative, dictating your own day around various customer activations and business opportunities. Your job would be to consistently maximise returns for our customers. That means you’d need a genuine interest in their business, a knack for communication and the ability to deliver intelligent solutions and practical help along the way.

The UK Off Trade is a highly competitive and concentrated market with large scale customers and competitors providing a fast paced and dynamic trading environment.  It forms our largest business channel, in terms of contributive margin within PRUK.

The Off Trade comprises major customer groups across the areas of Supermarkets, Convenience stores, Cash & Carry and Delivered Wholesalers.

Pernod Ricard UK is a key partner across the market, with strong distribution of our premium portfolio.  As we move into the next phase of business growth, our challenge is to premiumise the Wines & Spirits categories with our customers, to accelerate mutual growth for both parties.

 

What you’d do

·        Develop and maintain professional customer relationships in your territory

·        Achieve coverage of designated stores in line with journey plan and coverage target, maximising retailer contact

·        Deliver maximum compliance with promotional agreements to maximise return on investment and overcome obstacles to success

·        Maximise availability of Pernod Ricard brands through merchandising and management of stock and ensure availability of our products to target customers

·        Maximise opportunities for display agreements in stores, to deliver maximum brand visibility and optimise brand marketing activity

·        Present promotional details and obtain transfer orders within designated specialist and convenience retailers as required

·        Educate retail staff on Pernod Ricard brands and activity

·        Support, agree, set up and carry out consumer events in store

·        Monitor and feedback competitor activity

·        Complete and submit all administration accurately and punctually

·        Agree local promotional support for stores within territory budget (merchandise/product)

·        Amend/adjust journey plan to meet needs of business priorities

 

Who you’d work with

·        You’d meet with store level customers within scheduled calls to discuss current and forthcoming promotional activity and agree display and stock commitment

·        You’d work with your Regional Business Manager at least monthly to review territory performance

·        You’d attend team meetings at least monthly to review performance, collect information on activity and participate in training

·        You’d monitor, provide feedback and contribute to the development of Customer Marketing initiatives within channel through FSM and directly to the team as necessary

·        You’d monitor and feed back to Off Trade National Accounts on store level activity and issues through the Regional Business Manager or directly as necessary

3. Business Development Executive

Know how to get the most out of life? That’s exactly what we’re looking for. As a Business Development Executive, your job would be to boost availability, visibility and return on sales for our On Trade customers. To do this, you’d be given your own account base within a territory.

The UK On Trade market is a well-developed, competitive environment with a large number of  competitors selling to very well developed trade segments. The On Trade consists of over 120,000 licensed premises supplied by a number of large national and many small regional wholesalers.

Our On Trade business is managed through a National Accounts team who focus on supporting key customers.   Pernod Ricard recently took second position within the Premium Spirits category, the segment of the market that is fuelling overall market growth.

The On Trade channel is an important contributor to the profit of Pernod Ricard UK, however the main focus is to build the equity of our brands with consumers. It is an area of over investment, where we are determined to succeed for the future of our brands.

 

What you’d do

·        Gain new listings across the portfolio to increase distribution

·        Gain house pour status in major categories (vodka, gin, rum, champagne, whiskey)

·        Maximise visibility in outlet to increase brand awareness

·        Conduct staff education to ensure recommendation by driving advocacy

·        Evaluate activity to determine effectiveness and measurement of objectives

·        Attend quarterly company meetings for brand plans and company performance updates

·        Conduct any other duties that may be required from time to time

 

Who you’d work with

Internally:

·        You’d have daily contact with your Regional Business Manager (RBM) and the Channel Administrator for messages and updates

·        You’d have regional monthly meetings with your RBM and the team

·        You’d have monthly field training visits with your RBM for personal development

·        Ad hoc contact with Brand Managers, Customer Marketing Managers and Customer Account Managers to assist various activities and projects

 

Externally:

·        You’d work with retail and wholesale customers (and related trades) to drive brand loyalty and recommendation

·        You’d have contact with consumers to inform, educate and sample

 

What we’re looking for

Experience

 

·        Previous account management

·        Previous industry experience either sales or On Trade bar background

4. Customer Account Executive

Do you love the finer things? Perfect. As a Customer Account Executive, your job would be to grow Pernod Ricard’s voice, to push the professional projection of our business and to deliver on our premium credentials. In short, you’d help to provide the quality our brands are renowned for. As part of your role, you’d be a dab hand at developing and executing customer strategies aligned to our channel goals, making sure we achieve all the agreed customer volume and profit contributions.

 

What you’d do

·        Achieve all yearly volume and distribution targets within the set budget, gaining maximum profitability

·        Set SMART objectives and outline KPI’s for all activities

·        Accurately forecast volume sales and budgets by brand and ensuring maximum profit

·        Follow through marketing brand plans with customers

·        Accurately update A&P log to help track spends

·        Ensure all reports are delivered in a timely manner

 

Who you’d work with

·        You’d have regional monthly meeting with your manager and team

·        You’d have monthly field training visits with your manager for personal development

·        You’d have regular contact with Demand Planning, Accounts, Field Sales and Customer Marketing to ensure volume and strategy delivery

·        You’d be building relationships to enhance Pernod Ricard UK as a business
